How to enter the competition

Entering the 2027 Innovative Teacher Competition takes five simple steps — all on this website. Create your account, sharpen your skills in the Intel® SFI Learning Hub, then submit one technology-rich lesson plan before your country’s deadline.

Five steps to enter

1. Create your account — Register with your school email, then click the verification link we send you. You will use the same email for your Intel® SFI account.
2. Complete your profile — Add your school, country, subject and teaching details so we can place your entry in the right country competition.
3. Learn in the SFI Learning Hub — Work through the self-paced Intel® SFI courses. Completing “How To Create Your Own Starter Pack” earns you bonus points.
4. Prepare your lesson plan — Use the official Lesson Plan Template, and have every person shown in your photos or video sign the Media Release Form. Both are linked in the footer under “Resources.”
5. Submit your entry — Log in, open Submit Entry, upload your lesson plan and add an optional classroom video link. You can keep editing and re-submit until your country’s deadline.

What your entry must include

• A completed lesson plan (official template) — PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, or a SCORM ZIP.
• A signed Media Release Form for everyone appearing in photos or videos.
• A YouTube link to your classroom video — ★ bonus points (optional).
• Any supporting materials (optional).

Good to know: Each participant may submit one entry. Keep any shared links accessible until judging ends. Registration opens September 2026.
